2009–10 Work

(San Francisco)

"After I moved to San Francisco, I took the same kind of motif from Paris, but I worked with a cube to develop it . . . The box has both flat surfaces and space, which is perfect for showing the different dimensions. We have topography, we have flatness, and we have space. These dimensions are kind of conflicting, but they are still all there at the same time in the same space. "
